I had started my career in print advertising for various ad agencies and this experience gave me a great base for understanding layout, visual hierarchy, typography and pre-press production. I was able to stretch my Photoshop skills, especially with color correction and photo retouching. As my career progressed to online advertising and web design, I found that having these print skills came in handy when the occasional print project came up.
